Biography

Tang Thean Hock obtained his doctorate degree in the filed of RNomic from the University of Muenster, Germany under the guidance of Prof. Juergen Brosius.

Research Interest

His research group focuses on Experimental RNomic identification and functional characterization of non-protein-coding RNA (npcRNA) from infectious agents.He is also interested in the development of molecular diagnostic method based on new npcRNA gene markers and RNA technology i. e. SELEX technology for the generation of aptamer.
