Xinhua Shu is an Associate Professor of Visual Neuroscience at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow Scotland. He earned his PhD in Pathobiology from Xiangya School of Medicine. Dr Shu has published more than 60 peer-reviewed research papers.
Shu’s research is focused on understanding of the pathogenesis of retinal degeneration and developing therapeutic strategies for patients with retinal diseases by using mouse and zebrafish models.
