Dr Yinjie Tang is an assistant professor in Department of Energy Environmental and Chemical Engineering at Washington University USA He earned his PhD at University of Washington 2004 Seattle He worked as a postdoctoral fellow / project scientist at the University of CaliforniaBerkeley/Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory 2004~2008 before he joined Washington University 2008 He has published ~30 peerreviewed papers in last five years He is teaching both chemical engineering and biochemical engineering courses He served as a reviewer of several international journals in the area of bioengineering kinetic modeling environmental technology toxicology and microbiology He received several national awards like NSF CAREER Award 2010 and Ralph E Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award 2010

Research Interest

Bioremediation of toxic compounds such as heavy metals and aromatic compounds, analytical chemistry using mass spectrometry, kinetic modeling of biological and environmental process.
