He has completed his PhD in Ophthalmology in Nagoya City University in 2010. He received “2008 ARVO/Alcon Early Career Clinician Scientist Research Award” from the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and “2009 Alcon Japan Hida Memorial Award” from Alcon Japan Ltd.
