Azita Hekmatdoost completed her medical degree and PhD at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She also completed a fellowship at the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at University of British Columbia (British Columbia, Canada), where she is also an honorary associate professor. Dr. Hekmatdoost has authored more than 100 scientific publications.
