Biography

Dr. O.Ferrer-Roca is currently working as Professor in Department of Pathology in the University of La Laguna. She has received her Bachelor in medicine from Central University of Barcelona. Dr. O.Ferrer-Roca done her PhD from Central University of Barcelona. Dr. O.Ferrer-Roca has published 200 scientific articles and 14 books on image analysis and technology; including the first and only existing text-book of Telemedicine. Dr. O.Ferrer-Roca is running two EU projects as a leader ( Leonardo-DG XXII ; Science Park-DGXIII). Dr. O.Ferrer-Roca research interests include lung, thyroid, tropical pathology, osteoarticular, breast cancer, lymphomas.
