Biography

Dr. Gaurav Patel works as a Cardiology Fellow at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Pramukhswami Medical College in India, he studied Master of Public Health at Drexel University School of Public Health in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and worked as a research assistant at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, New Jersey. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is a current member of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented several abstracts at various national Cardiology conferences. After completing general Cardiology fellowship, he is interested in pursuing fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
