Biography

Dr Ginesa Garcia Rostan Perez is Professor of Pathology at the Valladolid University, Spain. She received his/her Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Oviedo University, Spain in 1989. Dr Ginesa Garcia Rostan Perez received her Ph.D. in Basic and Applied Biology from Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology of Porto University from 2003-2005. Dr Ginesa Garcia Rostan Perez has served on many NHS, the social security public systems of the european economic community states review panels, has reviewed for many journals. Dr Ginesa Garcia Rostan Perez has over 32 peer reviewed publications and is funded by several foundations. Dr Ginesa Garcia Rostan Perez research interests include Tumor development, maintenance, progression, dedifferentiation, EMT, invasion, metastases, therapy resistance. Targeted therapies. Genomic and post-genome / transcriptome studies. Molecular fingerprints. Molecular definition – classification of cancer. Cell signalling. Proliferation, survival, apoptosis motility and migration molecular biomarkers.
