Biography

Dr. Mukesh Tiwari is currently working as a researcher and Clinical Laboratory Manager at Northwell Health at Manhasset in New York since 2014. He started working in 2008 as a clinical researcher at the University of Minnesota in islet cell transplantation and has tremendous experience in the fields of autologous, allogeneic and xenograft pancreatic islet transplantations as a viable alternative for life long insulin therapy in select patients of chronic pancreatitis and Type-1 Diabetes Mellitus respectively. Dr. Mukesh also serves on the editorial board of other journals and has co-authored several relevant papers on this subject in journals such as American journal of transplantation (AJT), European Medical Journal (EMJ) Transplantation, Pancreatology, Acta Diabetologia, Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology.
