Biography

Dr. Saurabh RamBihariLal Shrivastava has done his MD in Community Medicine at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences during the period of 2008-2011. In addition, he has done Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care and Hospital Management, Diploma in Human Resource Management and Fellowship in Clinical Sciences. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College & Research Institute, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth. He has successfully completed his Administrative and Program Manager responsibilities as a District Tuberculosis Officer in Mumbai. He has done extensive research in different domains of public health. He is an author of more than 540 research publications, of which in excess of 250 are indexed in Scopus, more than 120 in PubMed, and more than 30 in Web of Science. He has more than 900 citations to his name, with a h-index of 14. He is an author of 4 Books in different areas of Public Health. He is pursuing Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) fellowship from PSG Coimbatore. He is also the member of the Medical Education Unit, and a member of the Medical Research Unit. Further, he serves as an editorial member of several reputed journals like International Journal of Gynecological and Obstetrical Research / Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Disease / American Journal of Public Health Research / Healthcare in Low-resource Settings / American Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research / Journal of Education and Health Promotion.
