Taame Berhanu Teklemedhin was born in Mekelle (Ethiopia) on 21th November, 1986. After accomplishing his high school education, he joined Bahir Dar University and obtained his B.Sc degree in Textile Engineering in 2013 honorable with Distinction. In 2017 he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Textile Chemistry at Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Fashion Technology (EiTEX), Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia with the Excellent Thesis result and outstanding CGPA (3.9/4.000). His current research interest focused on: Chemical Structure of Fibers and chemistry, Recycling Process of Textile Waste, Recycling Technology of Textile Products, Textile Finishing and Treatment, fiber science, plasma technology in textile application, nanotechnology in textile application, natural dye extraction and application on textile and leather materials, waste recycling and processing, waste water treatment in textile finishing, product quality improvement in textile finishing, technical textiles and related fields. He is interested in completing his PhD. degree in the specialization either of plasma technology, nanotechnology in textile applications, fiber science, Technical Textiles, Environmental friendly wet processing and coloration of textiles. Starting from 2017, He is working as Lecture, Researcher and management positions at Dire Dawa Institute of Technology, Dire Dawa University, Ethiopia.
