Yanxiong Pan graduated from the Chemistry Department of the Northeast Normal University of China in 2006 and was awarded his Ph.D. degree in 2014 from Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). After completing postdoctoral research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 2015. He moved to North Dakota State University in December 2014, where he is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
