Biography

Eduard Rogatsky completed his M.Sc in physical chemistry from Belarus State University, PhD in bioanalytical chemistry from Bar-Ilan University (Israel) in 1999, and postdoctoral studies at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY. He joined the faculty there in 2001, and is currently a Senior Associate Scientist and Director of Mass Spectrometry in the Biomarker Analytical Resource Core Laboratory, Einstein-Montefiore Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, Bronx, NY, USA

Research Interest

Design and development ultra-sensitive LC/MS analytical assays of clinical biomarkers and metabolites. LC/MS analysis of peptide hormones and proteins and absolute quantitation using isotope dilution assays. Design and development of multi-dimensional chromatography platforms and investigation of physical processes during column switching and mixing. Investigations of column selectivity under different conditions. Optimization of LC/MS for use of UPLC and fused core columns.

Biography

Dr. Qin Hu obtained her Ph.D degree in Department of Chemistry, Hong Kong Baptist University at Mar 2015. She started to work in State University of New York at Buffalo as a Postdoctoral Associate since May 2016. She has authored more than twenty research articles. She is on the Editorial Board of four reputed journals. Also, she is the reviewers of twelve International Journals.

 

 

Research Interest

Dr Hu focuses the research in the field of analytical chemistry, with particular interests in separation science. One current research effort is centered on the development of analytical separation methods in combination with mass spectrometry and various spectroscopic methods for the separation and analyses of fluorescent carbon nanoparticles. Another area of this study is the application of carbon nanoparticles as new analytical sensing tools for the quantification of targets. Specifically, Dr Hu acquired expertise on cytotoxicity assessment and pharmacological application of nanoparticles such as cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, real time PCR, and enzymatic assay.

Biography

Professrof and Dr Hideharu Shintani has received his PhD in Kyoto University during the period of 1972-1977. 1977-2008, He has been working for Government Official at National Institute of Health Science, Department of Medical Devices, Ministry of Health、Labor, Welfare. 2009-today, he is working as a guest professor in Chuo University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Japan delegate of ISO TC 198 and ICH. His research subjects are included sterilization, analytical chemistry, chromatography, separation validation and safety of medical devices. Based on these research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Award of Society for Biomaterials & Artificial Organs. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Chemical Sciences Journal as an Editor-in-Chief and Pharmaceutics and Drug Research as Co-editor-in-Chief. He has authored Bioinstrumentation and Biosensors, 1990, Ohio Science Workbook Polymers, 1994, Analytical Applications of Immobilized Enzyme Reactors, 1994, Sterilization Systems 1995, Adsorption and its Application in Industry and Environmental Protection, 1998; Handbook of Analytical Application of Capillary Electrophoresis, 1996. Sterilization and Disinfection by Plasma –Sterilization Mechanisms, Biological and Medical Applications, 2011 and Gas plasma Sterilization in Microbiology: Theory, Applications. Pitfalls and New Prospective 2016 as published research books. He is a member of Society for Biomaterials & Artificial Organs, Society of Antibacterial and Aantifungal Agents, Society of Analytical Chemistry, Society of Pharmaceutical Science.
