Stephen G. Schwartz, MD, MBA is Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Medical Director of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at Naples. He is a graduate of Cornell University, New York University School of Medicine, and Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He completed an ophthalmology residency at New York University School of Medicine and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is the current President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. He is an author or co author of over 35 peer reviewed publications and 12 textbook chapters, and he is a co holder of a patent pending entitled Molecular targets for modulating intraocular pressure and differentiation of steroid responders versus non responders.

Raul Martín is a registered optometrist (Spanish Council of Optometry and General Optical Council UK). He received Masters in visual sciences (MSc) and PhD from University of Valladolid, Spain. Presently he is a teacher of Optometry and Contact Lens in the School of Optometry (University of Valladolid) and is also the Head of the Optometry Research Group of the IOBA Eye Institute.
He had published 40 Spanish journal papers; 32 peer review papers; 5 books; 11 books chapters and more than 100 meeting presentations. He is reviewer of high impact journals (IOVS, Current Eye Research, CEO, Journal of Refractive Surgery, Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, Journal of Optometry) and Editor in Chief of Optometry Reports (Ed. Pagepress, Italy).
