    Frontal lobe seizure, terminology itself indicates about the disease that a seizure originates in the front part of the brain. Frontal lobe seizure is a kind of neurological brain disorder which tends to appear as psychiatric problem or a sleep disorder.

  • Frontal lobe seizure


    Most often seizure originates while the person is sleeping. Head and eye deviation, Pelvic thrusting, kicking, laughing, yelling, screaming, difficulty in speaking are the few symptoms of frontal lobe seizures.

    Brain wave test is carried out to detect the disorder but in most of the cases test may not be able to work out. Seizure may last up from 30sec to 2 minutes. In the UK, the prevalence of epilepsy in subject's aged 60 or over was recently reported as 11.8:1,000. Up to 70% of patients may become seizure free with the effective treatment.
