Geriatric medicine is mainly focussing on health care of elderly people. Its main objective is to promote health by preventing and treating diseases. The medicine that is formulated for older person for specific disability or disease is known as geriatric medicine. In old age the person suffers from so many problems and diseases such as he is not able to walk, not able to move or not even able to hold his/her body steadily that is standing in a proper manner.
Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
