    Chronic myelogenous leukemia is a rare type of cancer that the increased and uncontrolled growth of myeloid cells in the bone marrow and the accumulation of these cells in the blood.     Treatment of refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia may include the following: Repeat treatment with monoclonal antibody therapy and combination chemotherapy. A clinical trial of chemotherapy with stem cell transplant.
