Disease Treatment
Periodontitis treatment is to thoroughly clean the pockets around teeth and prevent damage to surrounding bone. There are both Nonsurgical treatments and Surgical treatments. Nonsurgical treatment includes scaling, root planning and antibiotics whereas Surgical treatment includes flap surgery, bone grafting, enamel matrix derivative application etc.
