The parapoxviruses include orf virus, bovine papular stomatitis virus, pseudocowpox virus, deerpox virus, and sealpox virus.Poxviruses are a group of genetically related DNA-containing viruses that have provided important scientific insights and are associated with various human diseases. Yatapoxviruses include tanapox virus and yabapoxviruses, which are found primarily in Africa.
