Dementia is a general term in describing decline in mental ability and it is not a specific type of disease. It is a broad category of brain diseases not a particular part or organ associated with a decline in memory or other thinking skills severe enough to reduce a person’s ability to perform everyday activities. Vascular dementia which occurs after a stroke is the second most common dementia type. They are many other conditions that can cause symptoms of dementia including thyroid problems and vitamin deficiencies. Dementia is caused by damage to brain cells. Damage of brain cells interferes with the ability of brain cells to communicate with each other normally, thinking, behaviour and feeling can be affected. Most changes in the brain cause dementia are permanent and sometime it worsen over time, thinking and memory problems caused by depression, medication side effects, Excess use of alcohol, Thyroid problems, Vitamin Deficiencies.

Mostly gastrointestinal tumours occur in the stomach or small intestine, actually these tumours grow into the empty space inside gastrointestinal tract so there is no early recognition of these tumour sight unless they are in certain location or reach a certain size. Sometimes tumour grows large to block the passage of food through the stomach or intestine is called an obstruction. Sometimes small tumours might not cause any symptoms and may be found out by doctor accidently when he is looking for other problem. They are some symptoms from this we can easily find out the tumours. They are Abdominal pain, A mass or swelling in the abdomen, Nausea, vomiting, Feeling full pain after eating small quantity of food, Loss of appetite, Weight loss, Problems in swallowing especially in esophagus.

Epidemiology is the cornerstone of public health, pursuing insights into the causes, distribution, and prevention of disease in populations. We conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research with a broad cells-to-society approach to questions about population health. Like the clinical findings and pathology, the epidemiology of a disease is an integral part of its basic description. The subject has its special techniques of data collection and interpretation, and its necessary jargon for technical terms. Descriptive Epidemiology: Is the collection of all data describing the occurrence of the disease, and usually includes information about individuals infected, and the place and period during which it occurred, Analytical Epidemiology: compares a group of people who have the disease with a group that is similar in age, sex, socioeconomic status, and other variables, but does not have the disease. e.g., genetic or environmental, Experimental Epidemiology: tests a hypothesis about a disease or disease treatment in a group of people. This strategy might be used to test whether or not a particular antibiotic is effective against a particular disease-causing organism.

It is a situation in which a substance (usually another drug) affects the activity of the drug when both are administered together. This drug action can be Synergistic means when the drug effect increased, antagonistic which means when the drug effect is decreased or a new effect can produced that neither produces on its own. If a patient is taking two drugs one of the drug may increase the effect of another drug it leads to overdose, and also increases the risk of side effects. A change in drug’s effect on the body when the drug is taken together with a second drug. There is a possibility of an interaction between a drug and another substance present in the organism and also there is one more possibility for drug-drug interaction that is interaction occur outside an organism before the administration of drugs take place.

Clinical Research is the study of health and illness of the people. And do research according in such a way that how to prevent the disease, diagnose the disease and also treatment of the disease. It describes many different elements of scientific investigation. In this clinical research human participants also participates and helps in translate basic research which is done in labs into new treatments and information to benefit patients. In this it also works on whether new interventions of drugs or treatments are safe and effective.

Preclinical trails are the processes by which test drugs and devices used are to see if they are safe and effective. In preclinical trails are drugs test first on animal bodies whether the treatment really works and also make conformation that if it is safe to test on humans. First thing for researcher is to explore, explain and describe a topic on which the research is going on and investigate how to use it to treat and prevent sickness. The researchers first get an idea for a drug target after that they develop a bioassay means a live system that can be used to measure drug effect then screening of the drug in bioassay takes place. After that establish what dosage of drug is safe and what amount of drug is toxic. Then we have to take approval from Food and Drug Administration and Investigational New Drug by making all list of applications of discovered drug.

Diagnosis is the process of determining which disease or condition explains by persons symptoms and signs of suffering. They are so many diseases caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, fungi and parasites. Diagnosis based on different laboratory tests that can identify which type of microorganism present and what treatment should be continued to the patient. Generally laboratory test uses a sample of blood, urine, sputum or other fluid or tissue in the body. After finding which microorganism, doctors then do tests to determine which drugs are most effective against it and after that effective treatment can be started sooner.

Vaccine is a biological preparation that improves immunity to a particular disease and develops adaptive immunity to a pathogen. Vaccination is most effective method of preventing infectious disease. A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism, and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins or one of its surface proteins. The agent stimulates the body's immune system to recognize the agent as foreign, destroy it, and "remember" it, so that the immune system can more easily recognize and destroy any of these microorganisms that it later encounters.
