It is a combination of a pharmaceutical drug, any chemical substance formulated or compounded as a single active ingredient with other pharmacologically active substance.Which might be separate but packed in a single unit pack for the use of external or internal treatement, medical diagnosis, or prevention of different diseases. Medications are classified in traditional small drugs derived from chemical synthesis and biopharmaceuticals which includes vaccines, recombinant proteins , blood products, gene and cell therapy etc Pharmaceuticals are classified on the basis of pharmacological properties like mode of action and their pharmacological action or activity.
