Nanoparticles Journals

Nanoparticles are small sized devices that have its roots from nanotechnology that objects as a whole functional unit for various disseminations. Technically speaking, nanoparticles are any particles that have their dimensions between 2,500 to 100 nanometers. Broadly these nanoparticles have tremendous applications in detecting cancer, mutations and other chronics occurrences. Similarly nanoclusters are the devices that are ranged between 1 to 10 nanometres in dimensions and do follow the law of narrow size distribution. Examples of nanoparticles are many and are characterized on the basis of their dimensional size and their characteristic properties. Nano powders are agglomerates of very fine particles which are also sometimes referred to as nano clusters, whereas nano crystals are ultra fine particles also called as single domain particles. These nanoparticles find application in various fields like biomedicine, ray optics, and electricity because of their broad range spectrum in terms of feature and characteristic. These nanoparticles also form a bridging gap between bulky materials and ultra fine particles. These nanoparticles have a unique characteristic that differentiates them from bulk materials. Their lattice has atoms that are scattered within the dimensions of 1 micron. Anything above this range will fail a molecule to be characterized as nanoparticles. These nanoparticles have immense properties are applied in almost every sphere of life. One such example is clay sized nanoparticles that can enhance the polymer matrices and thereby increasing their reinforcements. These nanoparticles also find application in textile engineering where these are integrated with the textile fabric for better physical characteristics. In organic chemistry, nanoparticles are also very effective in stabilising the emulsion. Janus particles are those particles that are partially hydrophilic and partially hydrophobic. They assemble themselves at W/O emulsions and can behave as surfactants. These nanoparticles have immense applications in medicine as well and in devising cancer detection strategies and treatment procedures.
