The bacterial infection of the blood of the neonate is known as neonatal sepsis.Neonatal sepsis is specifically infection occurring during the first month of life. It may lead to serious complications in future if not treated in early stages. The infection may be due to contact of the new born with bacteria during gestation, birth or the early environments after birth. The Early onset sepsis may be due to infection from the mother while the Late onset sepsis is due to exposure to environment. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review
