Frostbite can be described as a medical condition where skin gets injured due to freezing or extreme cooling temperature.Frostbite is a condition where mostly the skin of fingers, ears, tissue far away from the heart gets affected easily.
Symptoms of frostbite include numbness, prickling feeling, cold skin, muscle stiffness, etc. In initial stages frostbite is termed as frostnip. At these stages skin doesn’t damage permanently and extreme conditions can be prevented by taking preventive measures.
Reduction in blood flow to the skin cells and exposure to the extreme cold conditions leads to the frostbite.On 4th February 2012 In the Netherlands, temperatures reached their lowest point in 27 years on Saturday (-21.8C).
