Nursing Practice In Health Care

Nursing practice is a synthesis of the interaction among the concepts of person, health, environment and nursing. It is a direct service provided to a variety of patient/client populations throughout the life cycle, as well as groups and communities. Nursing is a complex, ever-changing profession. Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations. Every nurse practises nursing and updates his knowledge by constantly being in touch with the research or various associations.
