Advancements in Technology have empowered people to create new things. Many different scientific discoveries are made possible by technologies that are help full in different fields and by scientific instruments by which we study the nature in more detail. Since much of technology is applied science, technology uses resources applicable in everyday life and is means of economic growth.

International Journal of Advancements in Technology focuses mainly on innovative and interesting works from fields such as Architecture, Bionics, computer networks, cyber technologies, graphic design, Manufacturing, Machine Vision, Modeling, Product Modeling, Image processing, Gaming technology, Bioinformatics technologies, Graphic designing, Motion pictures, Sensors, Manufacturing and many more. International Journal of Advancements in Technology in the current issue of Volume 7 Issue 2 publishes one editorial, and three research articles contributing towards research on the topics such as Spectrum of Entanglement Fluctuations, high school student attitude towards Internet in Kuwait, and Squeeze cast Process parameter effect on Fluidity of Aluminium Alloy.

Internet addiction is described as an impulse control disorder that does not involve use of an intoxicating drug and is very similar to pathological gambling. Some internet users may develop an emotional attachment to on-line friends and activities; also other internet users spend endless hours researching topics of interest. Alduaij and Al- Amari [1], studied to diagnose the attitude of high school students in Kuwait towards internet and the effect of internet addiction on their health. Obtained results demonstrated that a high percentage of school students encounter the problem of Internet addiction. It is concluded that there is no official psychiatric diagnosis of an internet addiction and suggests intervention programs should be developed to prevent this internet addiction among adolescents.

Over recent times, the topics of continuous-variable entanglement have received much attention. Continuous-variable entanglement is a main resource for quantum data protocols and enables the hybridization between continuous variable and single-photon discretevariable qubit (unit of quantum information) systems. Getahun [2], analysed the spectrum of entanglement fluctuations and local entanglement with two-mode photon system with presentation of new definition for the degree of local entanglement. Author has considered a quantum system with help of Gaussian variable with zero mean. It is observed that about 50% maximum degree of entanglement along with 75% maximum degree of squeezing occurs at steady-state and threshold at the given frequency level.

Squeeze casting also termed as liquid metal forging, is combination of casting and forging process. The molten metal is poured and allowed for solidification by applying pressure on it. Vignesh et al. [3], investigated about the effect of Squeeze Pressure on the Aluminium LM6 fluidity property. Fluidity is the property of a metal, the most prevalent fluidity tests is the spiral-shaped mould test. The fluidity keeps increasing up to a particular pressure and drops immediately. It is concluded that at temperature of 750◦C and at pressure of 30 MPa the maximum fluidity of LM6 alloy during squeeze casting is obtained and the fluidity of LM6 alloy during squeeze casting increase with increase increasing in pouring molten metal temperature.
