Green building is also called as green construction or sustainable building. Green building refers to a structure and using process that is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle. Building life-cycle consists from siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition. This whole process requires cooperation of the design team, the architects, the engineers, and the clients. Main goals of green building is Life cycle assessment (LCA), Siting and structure design efficiency, Energy efficiency, Water efficiency, Materials efficiency, Indoor environmental quality enhancement, Operations and maintenance optimization and Waste reduction.
Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
