A novel environmentally friendly cotton seed coating agent was prepared from natural polysaccharide, fertilizer and microelement etc, which coating of cotton achieved good effect on increasing and the obvious antifeedant effect. The results showed that the yield of cotton treated with environmentally friendly cotton seed coating agent was enhanced by 9.47%, its cost was decreased by 35% and it was much more safer and environmentally friendly, when compared to the traditional cotton seed coating agent. So it has three characteristics of high yield, less cost and friendly environment.
