Pharmacology which is the branch of medicine and biology deals with the study of drug action. More specifically, pharmacology is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals which affect normal or abnormal biochemical function. Scholarly journals are peer-reviewed journals in which scholarship relating to a particular academic discipline is published. Scholarly journals serve as forums for the introduction and presentation for scrutiny of new research, and the critique of existing research. Content typically takes the form of articles presenting original research, review articles, and book reviews.
