Krabbe disease is a genetic disorder which is inherited. It involves the absence of myelin around the nerve fibers. This leads to the death of the cells in the nervous system which in turn result in the improper functioning of various body parts. This disease is common in infants and involves the symptoms of vomiting, loss of head control, seizures, defective motor functions, and blindness.
