Abstract :

As doctors and clinicians have come across with lots of patients having PCOS and they are fed up of trying hormonal treatment which soothes a few symptoms but at the other end develops a new set of other side effects. PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects a great population of woman. Lot of uneasy symptoms like acne, obesity, hirsutism, and depression circles has affected female for a long time and all the symptoms occurs due to unbalanced female hormones. Our study shows significant treatment of PCOS by balancing hormones like AMH, LH, FSH and Prolactin. At our Infertility Hospital Specialized Center, we have clinically proved and concluded that organic minerals are the best way for the treatment of PCOS patients. The clinical trials brought a great promising therapy into the PCOS scenario. The natural minerals treatment involves few sessions of one to two hours repeated after a gap of three days. The treatment duration is around 10 weeks. Each session involves applying patient with natural minerals with the aid of bandages. The bandages are soaked in the natural minerals solution and then wrapped around the patients using a very innovative technique. Patients are asking to stop all the treatments they may be undergoing and/or medicines they are on at the start of this therapy. The clinical trials were successful in all the test subjects and all of them showed remarkable comfort in their hormonal symptoms. Menstrual cycles got normalized and ovulation took place at their usual time. The systemic side-effects also got visibly under control. Not a single test subject relapsed into PCOS even after three months from her last treatment session. PCOS patients have a reason to rejoice now. And, this time, we took care that their gaiety remains lasting. 15 married female patients were included in present study. Mean age of patients enrolled in present report was 29 years (range 25-34 years). All patients received nine times study treatment. Study results revealed that majority of hormonal level significantly changed post-treatment compared to pre-treatment. There was statistically significant improvement in Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Prolactin, AMH, Fasting Insulin, SGPT and LH/FSH ratio, post treatment from the preoperative values (P<0.05). Baseline mean value of FSH was 5.23 which was normal and remained almost unchanged post-treatment. Baseline mean value of LH was 13.37 which was high and found highly statistically significant difference at post treatment in LH level. LH/FSH ratio at pre-treatment was 2.556:1 which was high compared to healthy female with usual hormonal level, which was reduced positively to 1.36:1 at post-treatment. This reduction is significant clinically. Baseline mean value of TSH was 3.76 which was normal and stable (mean value 3.52) at post-treatment. There is no statistically significant difference at post-treatment in TSH value compared to pre-treatment. Initial prolactin level pre-treatment was little higher (mean 33.56) at baseline was reduced to normal level with (mean 24.35) at post-treatment. AMH level was observed normal (mean 5.97) at post-treatment which was found higher than normal at baseline mean value 14.62. Fasting insulin mean value was normal at pre-treatment as well as post-treatment and stable. Initial SGPT level pre-treatment was little higher (mean 38.23) at baseline was reduced to normal level with mean value (mean 28.93) at post-treatment. Study results had shown that all hormonal levels and LH/FSH had reduced little or more at post-treatment except FSH level. LH/FSH ratio was also significantly reduced.
