Abstract
Dissecting Cellulitis (DC) is rare but distinctive chronic inflammatory disease. It is characterized by follicular occlusion, fluctuant nodules and formation of sinuses that can lead eventually to scarring and alopecia. Treatment of DC includes topical or oral antibiotics, intralesional steroids, Isotretinoin, or surgical excision. Recurrence rate is usually high after medical treatment. This case report describes an adult male with recalcitrant DC successfully treated with Clindamycin and Rifampicin without recurrence for 5 years follow-up.
