Abstract :

As Solange Pellat said, graphological laws are universal and they can be applied to any alphabet (Latin, Arabic, Hebrew, Cyrillic, Thai and so on). We will see how it is possible to expertise signatures in Arabic, even if we do not speak Arabic. What we have to look at is the movement, the way each single person link the letters, the particular idioms. The second case concerns a case of forgery. A lawyer sustained that a will had been written by a person that had learnt to write and read just one and a half year before her death, at the age of 80 years. There was no comparison writing available. It was possible to solve the case by demonstrating that the handwriting could not be attributed to a lady who was 80, ?semi-analphabet? and chronically alcoholic.
