Abstract
About the management of Helicobacter pylori infection expressing numerous extra-digestive pathologies in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Hp-ADRC): Helicobacter pylori is responsible of digestive diseases. Helicobacter pylori infection management combines a great number of products, among them, antibiotics for aerobic and anti-aerobic bacteria. Helicobacter pylori phenomenon current in Democratic Republic of Congo is more complex as it amalgamates numerous extra-digestive pathologies, consequence of a double toxic-infection caused by the passage of H.pylori toxins, ammonia and carbon dioxide in gaseous form, into the blood using the lungs path. The aim of this paper is to address the treatment questions rose by that phenomenon. The study design is a retrospective exam of patients’ files from 2013 to 2016. Inclusion criteria: Patients positive to Helicobacter pylori, expressing extra-digestive pathologies: Headache, Vertigo, Imbalance, mental confusion, Abnormal EEG, Internal heat, Blurred vision, Cough, Respiration trouble, Suffocation, Cardiac palpitations, Muscles pain, Stomach and back pain, Intense fatigue… Exclusion criteria: incomplete files or patients suffering only from digestive pathologies. Results indicate three different managements: medical management, traditional management and toxicological management. Medical management focused on Helicobacter pylori infection. Traditional management concerned the traditional practitioners. Toxicological management our mark, was focusing on the intoxication first, and afterwards on the infection. As the intoxication component is more and more present in many cases of H.pylori infection, it could be useful to reevaluate the international H.pylori treatment policy.
