Organic chemicals and solvents used in analysis of drug not only deteriorate the environment but also have toxic effects on health. So the need of time is to develop a simple eco-friendly method for estimation of antihistamine drug in pure and pharmaceutical formulations by using microwave-assisted spectrophotometry. The absorption of blue colour was measured at 732 nm. All the reaction conditions and different statistic parameters for the proposed methods have been studied and optimized. The method can be successfully used for the routine analysis in both research laboratories and pharmaceutical industries.
