Pradyumna Ghosh
ScientificTracks Abstracts: Hydrol Current Res
DOI: 10.4172/2157-7587.S1.012
The Seminar will address different transport phenomena problems and the author has made an effort to solve either numerically or experimentally. The basket of these transport problems includes ?Thermal convection in porous media?, ?Viscous fingering in porous media?, Micro-macro interaction in an anisotropic porous media flow-A Lattice Boltzman Approach. Last but not the least a unified approach will be discussed to analyze hydrology related transport phenomenon problem.
Pradyumna Ghosh is Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT-BHU, Varanasi, India. He did his PhD from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. Before joining academics he had five years of experience in research and in industry which includes TERI, New Delhi, University of Maryland, College Park, USA, Infosys Technologies Ltd. His area of research is microgravity fluid physics, porous media, nanofluids. He has authored 20 international publications and one book ?Thermal convection in microgravity?
