The percentage of female patient is 14.53% and male patient is 31.53 %. On the other hand out of 257 patients 78 (62% male and female is 16%) patients were suffering from left sided maxillary carcinoma .These patients usually smokes using their right hand. In this sub-continent most of the male have the tendency of smoking tobacco and female have the habit of smokeless tobacco with betel leaf and areca nut chewing. In this study estimates were made of effective size and precision since these presented in original study. Separate meta- analyses were carried out for patients those who had the habit of having smokeless tobacco with betel leaf and areca nut and tobacco smokers. For this, sort of patients sensitivity analysis for smokers/ nonsmokers were carried out. Oral cancer is often detected at a late stage when treatment is debilitating and the chances of survival rate are poor. Certain ethnic and poor socio-economic groups are at elevated risk of oral cancer due their ignorance and frequency of risk factor. Awareness and early detection is necessary to prevent oral cancer.
