Purpose: Today, attention has increasingly been focused on the studies which include patient-centered consequences. The study aims to investigate the attitude of parents and children towards application of stainless steel crown on primary molars. Materials & Method: The cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study included 80 children 4-6-year-old who referred to pediatric dentistry department having treated with stainless steel crown over past 6 months with informed consent of the parent to participate in the study. Eventually, a validated child and parent-centered self-report questionnaire was filled, having 14 questions about demographic information, 6 questions about children attitude and 8 questions about parents’ attitude. Data analysis were conducted using t-test and one-way ANOVA at significant level P<0.05. Results: In general, the score of children attitude was positive and the mean of attitude scores was obtained to be 9.9±2.6; 82.43% of the children scored good attitudes. The scores of parents’ attitude were positive, as well, the mean of their attitude was obtained to be 20.2±4.8; 61.53% of the parents scored good attitudes. Conclusion: In general, the attitude scores of parents and children towards stainless steel crown were good and independent of age, gender, career and education of the parents. About half of the children did not have any information on efficiency and function of the crown. Although the parents were not satisfied with how it appeared, the majority of them reported that their child had well accepted the crown.
