A total of 200 subjects who visited the outpatient department along with their parents were included in the study. A written informed consent was obtained. Co-operative children of 4 to 8 years of age, who could comprehend and understand simple questions of the questionnaire, were included in the study. The subjects were asked to complete a questionnaire (Psychological Impact of Dental Esthetics Questionnaire). Thereafter, their satisfaction with dental appearance and color of anterior teeth and the restoration were assessed. Data collected were then subjected to statistical analysis using SPSS software and it was found 72% patients were dissatisfied with the appearance of their teeth. 82% patients found preformed Zirconia crown as the most esthetic restoration of primary anterior teeth. It was concluded that children had a positive perspective towards the primary anterior teeth restorations for their esthetics.
