Abstract
The flora of Central Asia is very rich and well known with medical plants. Among them there are also the plants of Ferula genus. The flora of Central Asia includes about 100 species and is widely used in the folk medicine as anticancer, antimicrobic, various diseases and estrogen activity. The coumarins, flavonoids and sesquterpenoids were isolated from genus Ferula . The results of chemical studies of Ferula genus species - Ferula jaeschkeana Vatke, Ferula samarcandica, Ferula tenuisecta Eug. Kor, Ferula kuhistanica Korov, Ferula involucrata, Ferula feruloides and Ferula ovina from flora of Central Asia: various chemical composition at these plants, the structures of isolated compounds (including new compounds) and also their biological activity will be presented in the report
