Healthcare analytics has become the buzz word and talk of the town over the last few years. With the advent of the new informatics charm in ?Big Data?, the analytics trends and popularity has grown even more. There is a clear shift from the traditional approach to handle data. From the traditional enterprise value system centric approach to data being at the core of decision making, there have been some significant changes in the way, new enterprise systems are being looked at. Healthcare also has seen this emerging trend which started really from EMR adoption and now is focusing on creating platforms which would allow analyzing the generated data. The process of adopting models for being able to reap maximum and structured benefits can only be achieved if the entire implementation for the analytics solution happen in a structured and a defined manner.
