Abstract Share this page

Abstract The pertinent literature on nasopalatine duct cysts is reviewed. A case is reported in which a nasopalatine duct cyst infected by Actinomyces presented clinically with unusual features. The clinical findings could have been confused with an early acute periapical abscess arising from an incisor tooth. The relevant aspects of diagnosis are discussed.
