The author discusses examples of undesirable behavior of psychiatrists in daily practice ogólnopsychiatrycznej, influencing the image of the psychiatrist in the eyes of the judiciary and the public. They concern: (l) being influenced by people against whom criminal proceedings are conducted, (2) the issuance of certificates, the content of which exceeds the competence of the doctor, a non-expert, or is not supported by the documentation, (3) the irregularities in the conduct of medical history and (4) making arbitrary actions without a statutory powers of the body conducting the criminal proceedings.
