Abstract Share this page

Abstract Change of shift is a time when nurses and nursing assistants are less visible to their patients. By instituting a walking report by nursing assistants, there was an improvement in patient satisfaction related to call light responsiveness, reduction in falls, decrease in call light use, and improved call light response time by the staff. Pressure ulcer rates did not change. This article was published in J Nurs Care Qual and referenced in Journal of Community Medicine & Health Education
