Abstract A review of the pathologic conditions of the stallion reproductive tract is presented. The stallion has a number of lesions similar to those of other male domestic species but also has several unique to the horse. Some are diagnosed infrequently now because of new disease control measures and new husbandry practices. Modern immunostaining and molecular techniques should be applied to better characterize pathologic conditions in the stallion.
