Abstract We describe the microvascular repair of a traumatically lacerated penis (the fifth such case in the literature) and outline a uniform plan of management with which one can expect restoration of function and an adequate cosmetic appearance. Microvascular repair represents the most physiological method of reconstruction, with a lower incidence of urethral stricture disease, skin loss and sensory impairment.
