The competition power in the business world is insured by opportune in formation, capitalized upon in efficient management. From this viewpoint, the Supply ch ain management (SCM) issue is exciting through its actuality, dynamics, meaning, and especially complexity, requiring multidisciplinary vision and thought. Starting from this idea, we believe that approaching this subject from the perspective of accounting and the connections that can be established between the two is necessary. After reviewing several specialized studies and noticing the brief discussion of the connections between accounting and SCM, we considered that such an approach would be opportune.
