Recent concern over the quality of education has been highlighting in different areas. The university is not alien to this concern, and more and more attempts and proposals related to increasing university teaching quality and, therefore, concern for issues related to the training and development of teachers in this educational level. Encouraged by this awareness detected around improvement processes of university teachers, designed and started in the mid-nineties a training program that would serve as a springboard for newcomers in their professional activity teachers and as retraining for those others already contasen with some years in the profession. That is, a training program that would facilitate the process of socialization of beginning teachers and to allow review and strengthen the teaching practices of teachers and veterans. To this end, we put in relation to other experienced teachers with new teachers and encourage them to work together, analyzing their teaching activities, providing resources and strategies. This article presents the two activities that essentially support the weight of the proposed training of new teachers at the University of Seville and program different aspects related to the program are reviewed, as well as a stock of achievements and also raises the features and / or derivatives thereof and could be considered in the proposed new training programs such consequences.
