Biography

In 2004 she attended the Section of Clinical and Experimental Radiology In the Department of Veterinary Clinical Science in Milan, Italy. In 2006 she had a Research fellow for the school “High formation in the field of Advanced Biology and his applications: professionals features in diagnostic and molecular pharmaceutics “ In the CNR of Naples, Italy. She studied Diagnostic Imaging (PET/SPECT Micro-CT, High Frequency Ultrasound, DEXA, Laser Doppler, MRI) for the diagnosis and the therapy of Human disease in animal models. From 2006 to 2008 she had a Research fellow at the Department of Biomorphological and Functional Science at the Medical School of Naples, at Federico II University, Italy. From November 2007 to November 2008 Research Scholar at the Biochemistry, Microbiology & Surgery Department at Marshall University, WV, USA. She participated to the project “Efficacy of ultrasound contrast agents for targeted gene therapy in mice models of tumor” In collaboration with the Department of Biomorphological and Functional Science of Naples. She studied the feasibility of ultrasound mediated gene therapy, acquiring She also had a fellowship for a Project at Ceinge, Biotecnologie Avanzate, scarl, Naples, Italy, where she worked on PET/TC, SPECT, Ultrasound and others imaging techniques for diagnosis and to perform therapy on animal model of human disease (in particular animal models of mammary carcinoma, medulloblastoma, melanoma, thyroid carcinoma, atherosclerosis, hearth ischemia, models of virus-gene inducted osteogenesis). From 2/03/09 She is Assistant Professor at Biotechnology Faculty, University of Naples Federico II, Department of Biomorphological and Functional Science. Her research held at Ceinge, Biotecnologie Avanzate, Naples, where she coordinates the Diagnostic Imaging Laboratory for the study of animal models of Human disease. From 2010 she is a Member of the Ethical Committee for experimentation on animal models for the University Federico II of Naples, Italy.
