Biography

Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Science at the Long Island University, located in Brooklyn, New York. Her practice site is Mount Sinai- St. Luke’s Hospital, located in New York City, where she rounds with the Cardiology Team. Dr. Wang received both a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and an MBA degree from the University of Kentucky in 2006. She went on to complete a Post-Graduate Year One Pharmacy Practice Residency at the St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in 2008, and a Post-Graduate Year Two Critical Care Residency at the New York Methodist Hospital in 2009. Her teaching interests include pharmacodynamics, antiarrhythmics, and theophylline. She currently serves on the Assessment Committee and the Scholastic Committee at the LIU College of Pharmacy, and has numerous publications on topics related to cardiology, arrhythmias, antiplatelets, and anticoagulation. Current research interests include novel anticoagulants and students’ perceptions of case presentations. She has been a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Developing Drugs since 2012.
